Periscope & Live Streams

Periscope, Twitter's live video app from 2015 until its shutdown in 2021, let anyone broadcast from a phone to a live audience, and some adults used it for far bolder streams than the rules allowed. This category gathers those broadcasts along with other live-streaming clips from independent streamers. Expect hearts floating up the screen, comment-driven requests and outdoor or bedroom settings filmed at arm's length. The energy differs from one-on-one chat: here the performer plays to a crowd and reacts to a stream of messages. If you like the thrill of a public live broadcast, start here.
